Preconditioning
Physical and RankOne: You must have an up-to-date physical on file and sign off on all the participation/policy forms in RankOne to participate. Go to www.rankonesport.com. Select “Parent/Students Fill Out Electronic Forms.” Follow prompts. Must have student id#.
Dates: December 2, 2019 to January 16, 2020. Monday – Thursday after school
Sign up: will send a link via email, and post the link on social media and www.mariettalacrosse.com
Optional: Preconditioning is optional. You do not have to participate to try out for a spring team.
Tryouts: All skill levels welcome!!
Eligibility: current physical on file, RankOne forms signed, passed 6 classes S1, on track to graduate. 8th graders are allowed to play JV lacrosse. You can ride the activity bus from MMS to MHS after school for any lacrosse-related events.
Registration: open in December on www.mariettalacrosse.com. There is no fee to try out.
Date & Time: Tryouts will be held on Jan 21 & 22. Times/Location TBD behind MHS. Teams posted on www.mariettalacrosse.com on Jan 22 by 9 pm.
Equipment: Girls lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard, athletic shoes (soccer/football/lacrosse cleats if you have them). We can loan you equipment if needed.
Skills: Good attitude, general athleticism, throwing, catching, scooping, cradling, shooting.
Teams: We will field JV and Varsity teams. Ideal team size is 18 players.

The lacrosse season run from January 20 – April 25
Practice schedule: Every day after school. Times and locations TBD. No practice on game days.
Games: Begin the week of Feb 10
Transportation: MCS provides transportation for athletes to/from away games. Pick up at MHS.
Fees TBD. Full and partial scholarships are available. Fees cover uniforms, equipment, pre-game meals/snacks, banquet, senior night, website and accounting fees, and other miscellaneous expenses that may occur.
