MARIETTA, GA - The Blue Devils varsity tennis team won their game against Allatoona on 1/30 with a final score of 4-1. On our line 1 Singles we had Carolina Hanson playing with a clean sweep for the first set finishing 6-0 on the second set Allatoona put up a fight but Carolina came through and won with a score of 6-3. On our line 2 singles we have Blakely Runnion who won with a clean sweep on both sets. Her final scores were 6-0 on first set and 6-0 on second set. On our line 3 Singles we had Kaya Stephens playing who won her first set with a score of 6-4. On her second set Kaya won with a fight with a score of 6-2. On our line 1 Doubles we had Lizzie Kelley and Kate Corr playing. They won their first set with a score of 6-3. Their second set finished with a clean sweep with a score of 6-0. On our line 2 Doubles we had Libby Holle and Maggie Hyland playing. On their first set they lost with a final score of 6-7 after that they lost the tiebreaker round with a score of 6-8. On the second set they won with a score of 6-4 but ended the tiebreaker with a loss and a score of 6-10. Overall the girls had a great night full of amazing games and great shots!
