MARIETTA, GA - The Marietta Lady Blue Devils volleyball team hosted Etowah on Tuesday the 27th and gained a well-earned victory. Initially, Etowah took the lead but Marietta turned the tables on Etowah and was victorious. Before the match began, coach Ashley Jones said of her team "The odds are pretty good. We are ranked second in the region so we it should be a good match”. When later asked how she felt about the win Coach Jones said, “Well the first set was not very good, we played very sloppy, but we cleaned it up and we finished really strong.” The end score was Etowah 1 game to Marietta’s 3.
